The Schnagererhof has a long history, having been first documented in the 14th century.

“Working in harmony with nature”
We use the biomass from our woods to make wood chips for heating and there are solar panels on the roof.

We run our farm on organic principles and are a member of the BIOLAND association.
The Schnagererhof is a dairy cattle farm and vineyard. We keep cows and calves, and pigs in summer. There are all kinds of animals on the farm, such as cows and calves, pigs in summer, and plenty of cats, hares and miniature goats.

In the vineyard we grow Gewürztraminer and Zweigelt grapes, some of which we turn into wine ourselves, the rest being supplied to the Neustift Monastery’s winery.

It’s never boring here on the farm with us and there’s always plenty to do.

For example in the large play area and on the sunbathing lawn with its barbecue facilities, with the animals or in the lounge where you will find numerous games and books, including information about the farm and surrounding area.
